We provide hand painted designs to the customer or they email us photos of ideas of their own. We take into account the customer's personal interests and color scheme. We then provide drawings of hand painted furniture pieces for approval by the customer.
Clearly Susan is proud to offer hand painted furniture for every room of the home or office. We have kitchen stools and bar stools, chests and trunks, end tables, sofa tables small writing desks, chairs and so much more.
We create custom furniture of your choice from unfinished wood furniture. If you want a particular piece that we do not have we can send you picture samples and try to find the furniture piece you want. We next will order the solid wood furniture from our vendors and begin the process.
We prime the wood with a base coat and then paint with a color of your choice. We can stress the wood to make it look old, use a faux finish, glaze what ever you like, and then we paint the furniture with your design. After that we paint it with a sealer. It is that easy.

To commemorate another Important February Holiday - Mardi Gras - February 13, 2013 celebrated not just in New Orleans, but in several cities around the world. These wine glasses are $25.00 each.
Accordingto http://www.dltk-kids.com/crafts/mardigras/history.htm Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday". The name comes from the ancient custom of parading a fat ox through Paris on this day. The ox was to remind the people that they were not allowed to eat meat during Lent.
Lent runs from Ash Wednesday thru Easter Sunday.
Mardi Gras moves. It can be anywhere between February 3rd and March 9th. The date depends on when Easter falls.
French people who came to the United States brought the custom of Mardi Gras with them. The most famous festival in the US (and perhaps the world) is at New Orleans in Louisiana *wistful sigh*--
I've always wanted to go, not necessarily for Mardi Gras, but just to see it.
But Mardi Gras parades happen throughout the world. Biloxi in Mississipi, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Nice in France, Binche in Belgiun and Viareggio in Italy are just a few examples.
The Tuesday that Mardi Gras falls on is also known as Shrove Tuesday. The name comes from the custom of confessing on the day before lent. Shrove means "to be forgiven one's sins."

Hand painted Fish Plates Serve Garlic Shrimp
Hand painted Fish Plates Serve Garlic Shrimp
by clearlysusan...get updates of free blog posts here
Summer is almost over and fall will be in the air, but I still have a hankering for shrimp. Growing up on the Gulf Coast, shrimp dishes are a commodity that you can't live without. Now that I have been transplanted to Atlanta, Ga for 20 something years there is still no place better than the Gulf for real seafood. I went to Florida this past July and ate seafood every day, and now it has been 6 weeks and I am having withdrawal... One of my favorite places to get good recipes and especially seafood ones are at All Recipes. check out the following recipe for garlic shrimp. UMM....
Now I have to put in a plug for my hand painted fish dishes. Wouldn't this recipe look great on these decorative fish plates. These would be great for a party or to give as a gift. Well happy fishing, and let me know if you try this recipe and how you like it. Check out our hand painted fish plates with our painted sauce bowls in either lobster, crab or shrimp design.

Dog Gifts, Dog Lover Gifts
Dog Gifts - Dog Lover Gifts
by Clearly Susan
We can't help it, but our pets are our family and they should be. When you look at their faces you can't help but go nuts. Especially dog lovers who own man's best friend. Or is it man's best friend owns a dog lover?
Anyway whichever way it is why not capture their beautiful mug on hand painted dog wine glasses to give as a special gift to that special someone who goes crazy over their dog. Maybe it would be for you!
Why not give a whole set and let your friends and quests enjoy their sweet face with they come over for drinks. believe me they will want one, too.
